The HVBA is open to any business that does business within the city of Happy Valley. Many of our members are located outside the city limits, but they still choose to belong because their clients live within the city.
Membership in the HVBA costs $50 if you already have a Happy Valley Business License. $100 without a city Business license.
The HVBA is a member organization. All of our operating costs are paid for by member dues. This includes things like web hosting, bank fees, printing and mailing costs for meeting mailers, facility costs in case we need to rent meeting space, etc.
We also periodically make contributions to city events like the safety fair, 4th of July, and Jaza and Jazz.
All businesses doing business in the city of Happy Valley are required to have a business license. In the past, the city subsidized some of the HVBA costs with a portion of the business license fees. One of our goals is to encourage businesses to pay their business license fees to the city.
The information in the directory was taken from information the city gathered when you paid your business license. We included this information because prior to May 1,2007, all businesses who had a business license were considered
members of the Business Alliance. Starting July 15, only dues paying members will be included in the directory.
If you don't have a login, you must sign up to join the HVBA and pay your member dues by July 1 in order to be included in the online directory. Join Now.
If you don't have an email or a password, it probably means you haven't signed on to be a member yet. Become a member.
If you're still having trouble, contact us and we'll try to help.
Membership runs from July 1 to June 30 and corresponds to the terms of the city's business license.
Membership dues are due by July 1 of each year.
The HVBA offers a range of benefits. Connecting with fellow Happy Valley business owners can pay back dividends in the development of new client relationships. More important, however, to most of our members is connecting with a group of like-minded business owners who are giving back to their community. The HVBA is leading the way in business-community partnerships.
We have over 100 members of the HVBA that make up a range of industries from construction to consulting, insurance to art. All types of businesses are encouraged to join. View a list of all the businesses
