Proceedings

• Meeting called to order at 7:30am.

• Agenda for next week:
  • Our Guest Speaker is from Oregon Live and will be introducing a local blog site that the public can contribute to
  • We set the Guest Speaker limit to 20-30 minutes including questions
  • Business Spotlights get 5-7 minutes
  • Announcements for next week:
    • Membership fee change
    • Facebook
    • Website revamp

• Website update!
  • Motion was made and seconded to contract Diesel Web Productions to create our new website
    • Motion was passed by majority vote

• Budget update
  • Adjustments were made to the budget to account for the new website
  • Motion was made to approve the July 2010 – July 2011 budget
    • Motion was seconded and approved by majority vote

• Board Elections
  • There are a few positions that need to be filled due to officers stepping down or changing roles
    • Meeting Coordinator
    • Secretary
  • Other positions are still up for candidates, but will be contested
  • There was discussion of adding a technology officer to the board to handle any tech maintenance and purchases.

• City of Dreams
  • June 5-th 11am-noon
  • There will be no expo this year so no volunteers are needed
